Event Details

To successfully navigate the e-commerce space, small businesses and nonprofits must be aware of their contractual, intellectual property, and data privacy obligations. From collecting client personal information to using stock photographs, there are several aspects with legal implications to consider when setting up a website. To avoid compliance issues with these legal requirements, we invite small business owners and nonprofits to join us for this virtual event to learn more about compliance obligations and best practices for websites and online stores.

Who should attend?
Small business owners, nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and business minded individuals who are considering starting or are already in the e-commerce space.

About the Presenter
Adan Jimenez is an Associate at Apex Law Group who grew up in a family of artists in rural New Mexico. This gave him a deep appreciation for the value of the arts in local communities and small businesses. His law practice reflects this appreciation with a focus on intellectual property, specifically copyrights and trademarks as they intersect with technology. He is also an active volunteer with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) and the Vice President of Washington Lawyers of the Arts.
